Frøya and I are having the time of our life here in California. 

Let me share some pictures with you from the past week!

One of the things we did was to visit Santa Monica and Venice Beach. This is just an amazing place! The athmosphere is so different there from Hollywood. So relaxed and fresh hehe. It`s by the sea so of course it feels more relaxing to come down there. Hollywood is a lot of noise etc all the time so it was good to have a day by the beach =)

It is warm here, but it`s not the best weather for the beach yet. But we still enjoyed it a lot!

LAS VEGAS!

On Friday we rented a car and drove to Las Vegas! That was our first time there and I don`t even know what to say about that city. It`s not reality....it`s like walking in a different world. A world of luxury, huge amazing hotels, limoes, thousands of lights etc etc etc! I honestly never expected Las Vegas to be THAT amazing!! No words! Have a look at these pictures and you might get an impression of what I am talking about ;)

So nice!

We also stayed at the hotel called "Caesars Palace". If you have seen the movie Hangover then you know what hotel I am talking about =) This hotel is amazing! Just amazing! So if you ever go to Vegas, I can recommend this hotel!

Hey you all! Took a couple of days before I got the chance to blog but here we go ;)

We came to Los Angeles Friday night and it has been crazy since then!  We went out that same night to a place called Playhouse. TONS of people.  We had a lot of fun =) After we went to our friend Marques at the Hookah Lounge at Hollywood Blvd and chilled there until it was 4 o`clock in the morning haha. Believe me when I say that it was hard getting up the next day ;P 

Saturday we just walked around and did a little shopping :) You all know how that goes! I bought the cutest leopard shoes (the ones who know me knows I have a thing for leopard haha) :)

Today it is Tuesday and we are going to the Beverly Hills Mall in....badabam....Beverly Hills :P! Love that mall! What you don`t find there you wont find anywhere :P

We are as we speak, sitting at Seattle Tacoma International Airport! 

We first flew out to Iceland from Oslo and then flew from Iceland to Seattle. We are chilling here with our Starbucks haha...you guys already know this is a "must have" ^^ After all, it is 04.00 am in the morning haha so we have been up for a while. Coffee is then needed BIGTIME! 

Anyways! We are staying here for another 1,5 hours before our next flight to Los Angeles!  Whop whop! 

Here we are, happy as hippoes!  :))

It is now only 10 days until I will be back in Los Angeles! Can`t wait! I am flying out there with my girl Frøya this time and we are both super duper excited! She has never been so I can`t wait to show her stuff and introduce her to all my amazing people out there ;)

We leave on Friday next week from Gardemoen and gets to Los Angeles late that Friday evening. LAX baby!

I have a lot of plans for this trip. Check out schools, places to live etc etc. We are also going to Las Vegas this time, and hopefully we will get ourselves to San Diego too :) But first, Hollywood ;) So I will be blogging a lot so stay tuned! This will be fun fun fun!

Ooooo watch out Los Angeles! Haha ;) Ladies on tour! Wonder what we are doing the night we get there.....hmm....we might just go out haha! After all, it will be a Friday ^^

I went to the gym after work today and I gotta say; I do NOT like running BUT I am getting better and better at it haha! My legs are so sore right now, but I guess that`s when you know you did a good job at the gym. Sooo it`s a good thing ;) Going back there tomorrow^^ It`s crazy how much more energy you get from working out. The days at work gets so much easier....at least to me =)

Oh! And the WINTER suddenly came her ein the south!! Hehe! If there is one thing we know in Norway it is snow !;P Check this out! Beautiful, but cold ! :O

So today has been a very productive day for me hehe =) I woke up, cleaned the whole house, visited my grandparents, went to the gym, then came back home =) I then got this deep need to do some makeup! Some fun makeup! Sooo I got inspired by Beyonce`s new music video for her song "Countdown". I just love her makeup in that video :) Check it out ;)

Love this video. So I wanted to recreate the 60`s inspired makeup she has in this video ;) Here is the result =) I didn`t have the time today to take pictures step by step but at least you can see the result. This is really not that hard. You just need a good liquid eyeliner, yellow eyeshadow and black eyeshadow :) Plus some white eyeliner ;)

What do you think? I just love 60`s makeup =) Fun stuff! Simple and fashionable :)

Well I better get back to this movie I am watching called, "It`s never too late Larry Crowne" with Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks. A very sweet movie which should be seen ;)!

Yup! I bought it! FINALLY! After a loooong period with a lot of thinking I finally choosed the Samsung. It was that or Iphone and after talking to a lot of people I decided to go for Samsung, which I am very happy about =) I am still waiting for my phone to get here but I can`t wait to start using it :))) Just me & my Samsung <3

Anyways....the days are flying by and it feels great! That means I am getting closer and closer to my new start in Los Angeles =) I am not sure about school etc yet, but I will be. First of all I am going to LA for 3 months and then we will see what happens =) I also want to go to school but this is a lot of money involved so got to save that up first. I am excited though!! This has been my dream for ever and I am finally going to do it!  WOAH!  ;) L.A here I come <3 Some pics from my last trip there:

I was in Oslo last weekend and shopping was on the top of my list of "to do`s" ;) Soo I did and one of the things I bought was a pair of new shoes from ALDO =) Gotta love that store. I have been wanting a pair like these for a long time so they were kind of shouting my name haha ;)

I was in Oslo last weekend and celebrated my birthday with my girls there =)!! My birthday was on the 6th and I felt the need to celebrate in Oslo! :)) 

We had a great time! We started out evening at Marias place and then we went to town later =)

During my time in Oslo I also got to shop a lot ;) You know how it is; SALE! :))) I`ll post the stuff I bought later ;)

Things have been crazy lately so I`m sorry for the small "hold up". 

Anyways! YEAR 2012!!!! :D This year will be very very exciting!

As many of your know I moved back to the south right before christmas. I did this to save up and after the summer I will be moving out to Los Angeles. But for right now; Grimstad is the city ;)

BUT that does not mean that I wont be in Oslo during the weekends, because I will indeed!! I need that Oslo feeling sometimes so that`s a must!!

My christmas was amazing with my family =) I was just sooo happy to be home with everyone! And new years was amazing too! Just great! Frøya, Mie, Emma, Kjersti and I drove up to Kjersti`s cabin in the mountains and stayed there for one night! There were tons of snow! It was just very very pretty! We made turkey (of course) and cakes and had a great time together! ;)

My birthday is actually tomorrow, so after work I am going to take the buss to Oslo and then on Saturday we are going out =)! YAY! But earlier on Saturday; .....SHOPPING! ;) That`s right!!

You will be hearing from me ;)

After work yesterday I took the buss back to Grimstad (which I now live in...again hehe). It is SOOO nice to be home!! =)) 

We woke up this morning and had the best christmas time together with candy, "tre nøtter til askepott", gifts etc etc ;)

We just came back from church and soon we are about to eat my number one favourite food "Pinnekjøtt" :) CAN`T WAIT!!! 

Well, I gotta get back to my family, but I just wanted to wish you all a great evening with friends & family! ;) Relax and enjoy yourself ;)

For about two weeks ago we had a photoshoot with one of the girls (Albertine) who won our contest "Model for a Day". We had a great day with lots of laughter, posing, etc. Maria did the makeup & hair on Albertine, but tomorrow it`s Sinem`s turn and I will be doing her styling ;)

We will start at 11.30 so stay tuned ;) Pictures will be posted when I get them.

It`s also Friday today! It`s crazy....EVERY year, when December comes the time goes waaaay faster than usual hehe....at least it feels like that! This week just fleeeeew by! :O :O And it`s only TWO weeks until Christmas! How sick is this! We will soon be in 2012 ! ;) I am so excited about 2012! It will be a year with loooots of new experiences for me! Exciting! As most of you maybe know, I am moving back to the south of Norway to stay there for about 6 months. After that I will be flying out to Los Angeles for a longer stay :) Time to turn dreams into reality ;)

This weekend will be busy. But I always manage to get some rest in between too =)

On Monday I fly up to Trondheim again....my last time :( It will be so sad to say bye too all my amazing people up there, BUT we`ll meet again ;) ;) For sure!

Other than this I am very very happy about the phonecall I got from my old boss in Grimstad the other day. I got a job when I get there :) Whop whop! It`s now only about 3 weeks until I move to the south! Crazy to think about! Everything is happening so fast, but things are also falling into places so I can`t wait for 2012 to start! :) I have big things in mind for it ;)

At least in Trondheim! Hehe! I have had a great stay here in Trondheim this week! I haven`t got to blog...sorry about that but here we go ;)

I have been working all week as usual, but this time I also decided to stay until today because I wanted to go out with my girls up here =) After work yesterday we went to my hotel which ended up being a hotel at Tiller....kind of a lonley place haha, sorry peeps!). After a little while Tonje, Carin Elise and Heidi came and we all got ready together.

Hehe what can I say! Attractive group yes? ;)

Great evening with great girls! We went to town later to this lounge/club/bar called Kos. I liked that place, but it was very very packed! Good times though!

Later I took the buss back to the hotel. When I woke up today it was SNOWING LIKE CRAZY!

Hehe! I was going to take the buss, buuut when I ask the people in the hotel they tell me that there are no busses leaving this early :/ Say whaaat? Hehe! TAXI! I got to the city in time for the airport buss though and I am kind of early here at the airport haha :P But oh well! Better early then late ;) My girl Tonje is actually flying to Bodø today so she will be here soon to keep me company =)=) I just hope we are on schedule because like I said; the weather is crazy here right now!

Other than this, what`s new? Hmm, not much really. I mean christmas is near and I am excited about it!!! Time to get in that christmas mood soon=)! Gløgg, sitting by the fireplace, hot chocolate, christmas music etc etc! Gotta love it! =) It`s crazy to think about the fact that I am moving in less than 4 weeks :/ Mixed feelings about that indeed! Buuut I`m sure it will be okay! 2012 will be a very exciting year for me so I am looking forward to see what happens :) Stay tuned ;)

Oh and most of you have probably already listened to Rihanna`s new album? What do you think? I must say that I think her last album was better, but there are some songs I find pretty cool on the new one as well :) 

Today I have a date with my girl Maria but I think the first thing I have to do it to take a nap! Hehe didn`t get very much sleep tonight so HELLO TIRED FACE! :P

Yesterday I slept in before I got up and met my girl Lene in town for a coffee. We ended up getting one of United Bakeries famous scones instead and walked around and had a look at all the christmas decorations etc :) I know it`s still November buuut my christmas feeling is getting there ;) 

Before we went out last night Frøya, Emma, Kjersti and I had dinner at Kjersti`s place!=) She made us Mango Chicken :D I have never tasted this before but it was AAAMAZING! Good job Kjersh ;)!

Later we went to Café Sør and had a couple of wine bottles and then we went to Jeger where we stayed the rest og the night :)Good friends, good music, good vibe...GOOD times ;)

          Today it`s Sunday...funday? Hehe more like "chillday" to me. I actually went to the gym though :O! Whop whoP! It was nice! I just found out that my hotel in Trondheim has a workout room so this week will be a week including lots of work outs ;)

So last night I went to Coloseum to watch the early premiere of Twilight - Breaking Dawn, Part 1.

This movies was just amazing! To me all the Twilight movies are just amazing! You become a part of this amazing story, music, scenes etc etc! 

So for all of you who are going tomorrow or this weekend...BE EXCITED! You will love it! =) The special thing about the early premiere was that Elizabeth Reaser who plays Esme Cullen in Twilight was actually there last night to introduce the movie to us =) Here she is outside Colloseum.

So, many think it`s very hard to use eyeshadow because they don`t know how to use it. I want to show you guys a very easy party makeup that everybody can do=) This will take you ten minutes of your time and you will be ready for the evening ;)

I decided to show you guys how to do this with 3 different colours, but I am only using 1 colour every time. That`s what makes this easy :)

First of all; an eyeshadow base is a GREAT to have! I will today be using Clinique`s new Lid Smoothie. It`s very easy to use, cooling and full of antioxidants=)

So! Apply the lid smoothie on the whole eyelid and all the way up to your eyebrow. This will just give you a highlight right under your brow and that way give an extra "lift" to your eye ;)

Then you use the eyeshadow you decide to use on your eyelid and fade it out right over the crease (globalen). 

Then, to get that party look I use a black eyeliner all around the eye but on the wet area of the eye. The put the mascara on.

And there you go! That`s how easy this is to do. It will take you about 10 minutes to do this and voilá, you are ready for wherever you are going ;) You can do this with all kinds of colours! I have used these three colors today, one at the time just to show some different looks. The colors are from Kryolan. In one of my earlier posts I got a question about what kind of colors you should use if you are dark skinned. If your skin is tan, or darker strong colors are actually very nice. But gold is also a safe winner ;) So maybe try this first look and see what you think ;) For this second look I went for a very nice blue color that I like. And for the last look I went for a color that is kind of purple but a very very faded and natural purple/silver ish! For those of you who do not want that very intense color this is a nice pick :)

So basically this is a very simple party makeup for those of you who want to do this very fast and easy :) Just remember to get the color even and make sure you fade the shadows out in the ends :) Looks nicer.

I am finally back in Oslo after a long drive! Feels good ;)

I have had the most chill weekend in Grimstad and I have really enjoyed just hanging out with my family down there. 

Today we went through a lot of stuff and guess what we found! Dad`s old "LP-platesamling"! Hoho! I remember when we used to listen to this! Weird how things change with the years!

Haha!

And my favourite when I was a kid was of course "Smurfene" ! Who didn`t love them! :P

This is a creamy, crease-resistant eye colour which will stay on your eye up to 8 hours :O True! It instantly cools thanks to unique applicator and lots of antioxidants helps to protect the skin on around your eye and on your eyelid ;) A lovely loooovely feeling! ;) Has to be tried!

I personally am a huge fan of shadow number 01 ! This is a very very light colour! I use this for eveything...highlighter, eyeshadow base etc...I even use a little on my lips to make them stick out more ;) So much you can do!

I drove home to Grimstad today with lots and lots of my stuff. Moving takes time hehe :P

We have had a great dinner and just catched up =) I also got my "nice side" on and gave everybody a small face treatment! Now everyone can go to be and sleep well ;)! And I also got a hair treatment from my little sister! :O Life is GOOD! ;)

We are driving back to Oslo tomorrow, so get of the road!!! :O Hehe ;)

Now it`s only 9 days until Rihanna`s new album will be released!!! Can`t wait! :O :D "Talk that Talk" ! :)

Aaaand in February LMFAO is coming to Oslo! Spektrum! :O :O I am definitely going to this one! Should be awesome! Gotta love their song "Sexy and I know it" ;) Check it out !
