Finally, I'm back in lovely London. Been here since over the weekend, and I've been having a woonderfull time so far.

First day of castings today, had a soft start with only two - one of them was w the stella mccartney-team, and luckily they're using me for a job tomorrow. So i'll try and get some good 'behind the scenes'-shots:)

I've got a confession darlings, i'm totally obsessed with fringed leather! I do know the fringes are a fading trend, anyhow my fringe-fetish wont seem too go away. Therefore I'm posting some fringy pictures for y'all.

Festival Necessities

Inspirational pictures before packing to a festival is just as important as bringing sunglases (hvertfall i mine øyne).
So here's a little mix of necessities and inspiration before leavin' to Hove - see you there?

So in addition to the tent, sleepingbag, warm hoodie, wellies, bikini, toothbrush and all, I HAVE to bring

- fancy scarves/shawls (around the neck or the waist as a belt or on the head)
- colorful shades
- hawaianas/converse (when the 'wellies-blisters' make you go crazy)
- 90's jeansjacket/-shirt
- cut-off, worn-out jeans (baggy/tight)
- bikershorts
- oversized, rocked or statement tees and dresses
- hat(s)
- single-use cameras
- long stockings(in wellies)
- leatherjacket ( and green, vitage military jacket)

ELLEs sommerfest gikk av stabelen på onsdag, og samtidig som kjendisene nøt godt av Campari og champagne viste avgangsstudentene på ESMOD fram sine (for det meste)nyskapende kreasjoner på Ballroom. Mange bra bilder ble tatt, de jeg har har jeg ikke ennå(hvis det går an å formulere det slik). Såh - foreløpig får dere kose dere med bildene på Elle bloggen o.l. :)

Sick of the Jessica's, Paris's, Lindsay's, and Britney's of the world? I don't know about you, but as influential these girls have been in fashion I feel like they mainly end up in the same place of homogenous beauty - big curls, fake bake, boho confusion.. Enter Charlotte Gainsbourg (and Lou Doillon, in former post) a style maven that is more Sartorialist then Perez-Hilton.

British-French Charlotte Gainsbourg hit the fashion and talent jackpot from birth, as both parents are actors-slash-singers (her mother is Jane Birkin - yes, the famed Hermes Birkin bag is named after her).

She's got that effortless thrown-together-but-so-chic look down that the French are famous for. Influenced by her mother?s era and has undertones of 1960s London ? think tall waisted pants, fitted leather jackets, and blousy tops. She is vamped up for ethereal editorials, goes low-key for press junkets, or chooses eclectic hit-or-miss dresses for the red carpet. She has the kind of tall, long-lined body that clothes love to hang on ? especially Balenciaga who draws inspiration from Gainsbourg as muse du jour.

As cool as she looks, the biggest inspiration I draw from her (and her sister!) is the beauty that comes naturally from being one?s self, not from trying to be what?s hot now.

I thought the cowboy boot trend went the way of trucker hats (or back to the rodeo, depending on who you ask), but leave it to a chic Parisienne to have us coveting them all over again. I think Charlotte Gainsbourg looked impeccably laid-back in a leather jacket, slouchy tee, and faded denim at the Antichrist photo call in Cannes. Tell me: Do the worn-in boots tie the look together, or is the whole ensemble better suited for a cattle drive?

Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon are still in the spotlight. The two daughters of the famous actress and model Jane Birkin (one with Serge Gainsbourg as father) did grow up amongst famous singers, actors and designers - still, these girls got tallent.

At the age of nine, Lou Doillon's appearance was already distinctive, with Indian leggings under short dresses, worn with Gratefull Dead T-shirts and rollerblades and long dreadlocks. By the time she was 11½, she had tattoos and a stud in her tongue. The french model and actress(and singer) has a distinctive way of dressing be it with a studded leather jacket, a hat or ripped jeans. Here's a few shots

Charlotte Gainsbourg made her music and acting debut a while ago, following in the footsteps of her mother (and her half-sister) she's also started modelling. Being friends with Balenciaga's head designer is not a bad thing..

Surface 2 Air <3 Sølve Sundsbø

The french brand Surface 2 Air has signed an exclusive cooperation with the well-known Norwegian photographer, Sølve Sundsbø. The brand has already designed a men's collection with the ûbercool electronica group Justice, but now there's time for something for the ladies!

The Norwegian photographer is being very successfull abroad, so this cooperation is without doubt one of the more exciting ones. It's a limited edition collection consisting of dresses, t-shirts and bags, which are only to be found in 20 of the world's leading fashion retailers. Lot333 in Bergen happen to be one of the lucky ones chosen!

We congratulate, and exhale in relief now that we know that the collection can be obtained in little Norway.

This fall there's undoubtedly arriving loads of chunky gold cuffs, statement necklaces with satin sash or Swarovsky crystals and luxurious jewelry.
