thanks you mom, for your perfect advent calendar! i was so happy when i opened the package this morning, i swear i had tears in my eyes. just 13 days before i'm going home for christmas, can't wait to see you all!

btw i am coming home as a 4 year old girl... i got a haircut yesterday, to take away the blond color that had almost grown out. it looks horrible, and now i have no idea what to do. any idea where to buy authentic looking wigs, anyone?

tonight all the norwegians met and ate tacos, before we all went and saw the new Harry Potter film. i thought the film was ok, but i didn't like the end at all.. have you seen it yet?

today was the day of "conseil de classe", which means that all the teachers come together to say what they think about the class, and to discuss grades. at 17h i had a meeting with my norwegian teacher to talk about my grades for the first trimester, and how i am doing in general. i am pretty happy with mine, but i have to work hard with my biggest weekness: biology. hahaha, i got under 5 of 20. in english it went better, as french people "don't not speeks magnifique english. but zere iz, hovever, exeptions." yeah there are french people who speak great english too, i'm just playing with the "stereotypical" french person.

it's almost december, amost christmas, and almost home. and so cold that i decided to cover myself in sheep before the meeting earlier. bææ

(note: after all it's wednesday, remember?) and, a friend and i watched a movie called Adventureland. it's a comedy, but not one of the best i've seen.

i hear a rumor it's snowing in norway now. you are so lucky, i can't wait to go home for christmas and jump around in the snow and make snow angels. today in lyon it has been about 18-19 degrees celcius, which is not very far from early summer temperature in norway. it feels weird, but it's nice not having to wear my big, black jacket.
in a couple of minutes i am going to have dinner, and today i have bought something i can't afford that often. norwegian salmon, mushrooms and ... "fløtegratinerte poteter". i wish jenny was here, she makes the best fløtegratinerte poteter (haha, this sounds pretty weird), and she didn't even use fløte!

it's for the motivation

now i am studying for my biology test at 3. the thing is, when you got a pretty bad first test and it depends on this one to pass the biology the fist trimester (which you are most likely not to do) it's pretty hard to get your hope and motivation up. luckily i am done at 4 o'clock, so after that i have the whole weekend to relax :)

Nina (my roomie) is coming back from school any moment now, and we are making fish for lunch. good girls, we usually make pasta.

saturday i got my mac, and i am so happy about it. my old computer crashed, and now i have to download a couple hundred songs.. 
today nobody had school because of the end of the first world war (i think), so i have spent the day with about 20 norwegians in my apartment, homemade hot chocolate and some wonderful quality time with my biology book.
