The creative director of YSL, Hedi Slimane has decided to change the name of YSL to just SL.
He says it is to give it a new, fresh, creative feel. This will take place from Spring 2013.

I think this is the most stupid fashion news I've heard since John Galliano's support of the nazi.
Why would you change an allready well-established name of a brand!? Then they have to change all their products and design and it will cost the brand a fortune.

After my presentation on Burberry yesterday, I left London for my exam in Norway. I passed and it feels great, finally I will get a student loan.
Will be staying in Bergen over the week to work, before I go back to London to finish my 1 year of fashion management at London College of Fashion, 2 more to go.

It is the Queen's Jubilee this weekend and everyone is out to celebrate. Of course it is back to winter degrees and it is raining as hell! So typical...
Tomorrow it will be held a BBC Concert outside Buckingham Palace with artist's like Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Jessie J and others.
I hope the rain will give us a break then!

I have been looking forward for this movie since the trailer came out like a year ago. It looks so exciting, the battle between the good and the evil.
I love the fact that Hollywood is making so many movies and series about old fairytales. Fairytale is the new vampire trend!
I think that this will be the best fairytale movie since Lord of the Rings, I hope I won't get dissapointed.
My only wish is that someone else could play snow white instead of Kirsten Stewart, she really just have 1 exspression!

Right now I am working as a consultant team with a group of 6 on how Burberry can maintain their Britshness or even get it back. 
It is so hard to work in a group, to get everyone to meet up and to do the same amount of work. The presentation is on Wednesday and no one else but me seems stressed about it.
The day after I am going back to Bergen to take a Norwegian history exam. The student life could not be more stressful, I actually miss working and earning my own money.
You always crave for something you do not have! 

I remember I looked so forward to study in London and do not get me wrong, I love it and the Fashion Management is absolutely perfect for me.
But, it is hard to live in a city like London, full of luxury when you barely can afford food.
