Monday I had to pick up my car that was in the Mercedes garage, strait from there I drove for four hours to pick my grandma up, so nice to bring her back home after her holiday:-) I m lucky to live with my whole family:-).

Tuesday I had a really nice dinner and time with one of my girlfriends, we talked for hours and enjoyed a great meal. I m so lucky to have such great friends:-). Wednesday I had a meeting with my webdesigner, its hard to find realible people in the industrie, and he is just one if the best. He has made all my raceclothing and all the stickers for my raceboat, love talking to such inspiring people, lets see what we can come up with next:-)

Also been shaping up going to the gym almost everyday, when I m thinking about something I always run for ages.... Think its the best way for me to deal with things...I wonder sometimes how people can treat others so bad.... People with a lot of luggage and problems are often very selfish, like vampires taking your energy....and even when you try to help and support they turn their back to you, just as you stand on your head to give them everything you can....strange world...

Mirell Victoria : Men and me .....the big NO, NOs! for any man in my life:

Ok, I know I never normally write about guys, dates or my relationships....its just been something I ve kept private. I get a lot of mail and messages asking me what I m looking for, and many of you write me so incredible nice words.....I want you to know, that I always read all my messages, and really appreaciate them.
When it comes to men, I have always put my career first, all my life I think men and dating came last on my list of important things in life, it was not that I didnt dream about someone, it was just with my lifestyle of travelling and constant working, partys and always being surronded by a lot of people it didnt fit in. I have dated some of the most amazing men, and I mean that, I really have met some of the best men in the world, intelligent, goodlooking, kind and ambitious treating me like a princess. Unfortently with the focus being on my career and not on them it was hard to give what they deserved from a relationship, and I think I often somehow forced a break up because I was confused and didnt know how to open up and stay close to other people because of my lifestyle of constant travel, working all over the world and never meet the same people twice.

Thankfully things have changed a little lately.....I have done more things in my career than I ever dreamt about, and I finally feel that now I have the space and time to set a man first in my life, its a very good feeling :-) But guys, you have to step it up...
  Some NO ! NOs!
T here are to many lazy guys who think that a video and pizza in his place will be good enough for a first date......IT is NOT, that is something you can do with your buddies!
or what about the drunken guys in the club who tell you that they loooooove you so much, that you are the most amazing girl ever and then ask you to buy the next drink before they walk of snogging the cashier girl from the local shop......
The guys who ask you out in their boat, but ask you to pay for the gasoline.......
The guys who always just "forget" their wallet or card when you are out for dinner......
Its my birthday, and we have dated for some time, and all you do is sending a lousy sms, saying Oh its your birthday, happy birthday .........If you would like to keep a girl, NEVER forget her birthday, it doesnt have to be an expensive present, but make sure its a day she wont forget, or I promise you, she ll be out of your life before you can say, SORRY !
Some of you guys proberly think you look like the Marlboro man when you havent shaved for a week....trust me, unless you are a supermodel, it wont suit you !!!! Go and shave before a date!
Then there are the guys who try to play it all so casual so they dont change their clothes after cooking dinner or having a few beers with the guys.....trust me, smelling of pizza and beer is not SEXY
Drunk guys who tries to grab on you, and when you push them away they try to grab on your girlfriends.....NOT GOOD !
Of course you also have the guys who sit down and write almost a book about themself, copy and paste it and send it to every single model on facebook.....Guys come an, dont you think we girls talk togheter ?!
Or the guys who chat you up on facebook, you have never met them, never talked to them, and they are telling you how much they love you and think you should meet......they dont even know in what country you are living in or what nationality you are: "I really like your profil picture, girl you are hot, lets meet up and grab a burger ! " Do I even have to say anything about this one.....trust me, I receive at least 50 messages a week thats just like that....

Then there are the guys who only send you a sms a day, and expect you to be all overwhelmed and ready to meet them when they have time to finally see you....Guys, what you give is what you get! If you play it cold, you will have a very cold bed to come home to!
Or the guy who takes you out on a date, goes up in the bar, buys a drink for himself and gets you NOTHING...
Then one of my least favorites: The wannabe hunks who starts sending you pictures of themself with NO clothes, again, they might never have met you or never talked to you, but still they send you a complete nude picture of themself....and how many others do you think they have sent that to before you ??? Guys, that is such a TURN OFF, keep that for when you are in a relationship.
Or the guys who think that sending a picture of their bicep, sixpack or any other bodypart they are happy with.....Come an, let me experience your body for myself in real life, OK ?
The TV guys: Their life is waking up in the morning, go to work, come home, put the TV on, have a bit sex, then watch TV again....TV and Sofa at least five days a week, and you know what, they wouldnt even notice if you wherent there sitting on the sofa next to them......
Men sweat, its not true that women like men who smell like cavemen! Always shower and put on a really good perfume, dont ask, just DO IT :-)))
The guys who says:" Lets meet next week"....next week comes, and you hear nothing before 23 pm Sunday Eve....ehhh do you want to come over for a movie ? No, I ve waited all week for you to call me, buying new clothes and preparing for a nice date...... and to be honest, I dont want to ever hear from you again....got the point ? Treat me with respect and be concrete.
The X FACTOR, No, I m not your ex, and I dont really care about your ex, if you got luggage, dont bring it into my life.
Guys who tell the same stories over and over again, and dont remember that they already told it to you three times before.....I might giggle the first two times, but please.......
The play it hard to get guys....I hear nothing from you, well do you really think I ll hunt you down if you show no interest ? If you want me, you have to show me A LOT of interest.
Ha ha I could go on, but if you think you could pass on these, you should at least be one step closer to doing the right thing ;-) All these experiences are based on episodes in my life, and a lot of them from my last date, who got DISMISSED ;-)

Mirell Victoria: How I got my first job in the City of London :-)

My life has I always been driven a lot by ambition and hard work. I was never someone who gave up. In 2004 I was dating the head of FX in Goldman Sachs in London. He did not want a girlfriend who was working in finance, and I had no idea what he s job was, I hardly knew what a trader or broker was.
So in secret I attended a course in Forex Trading by FXCM. I spent one month in front of the computer doing dummy trades, and I could hardly sleep, I was awake from Australia open until New York closing. I swapped boyfriend, and this time I was with a broker in Tullett Prebon who really supported me. I bought a suit, ( me who always was wearing tight jeans and short tops showing bellly button), put my hair in a ponytail, put on low heels, and read everything I could about finance and the markets. I mean everything, The financial news, bloomberg, Reuters, watching CNBC where my boyfriend often was featured, and I hang around at the partys talking markets and said I was looking for a jobb.
Suddenly I was called in for an interview, a small company lead by a big scottish man called Donald King, the office was at the big Royal Stock Excange. There I was, early morning in the rush trafic, looking at all the people getting off at St Pauls Cathedral wearing suits, polished shoes and walking determent. I tried to copy them, look confident, but I was sooo nervouse....when I walked through the high ceilings and marble I was thinking what am I doing ! I know absolutely nothing about finance!
I came in the door, and a few serious men around a table looked at me. They where talking about the fixed income markets...I had NO idea what it was, but I spoke like the people that I had watched on CNBC that morning, talked about the global situation...they invited me to their Christmas party, and at that party I reaized they where not giving me a job, they where just enjoying a beautiful girl.
Well lesson learnt! I then got to spend days shadowing brokers in Tullett Prebon and Cantor Fitzgerald...i was so embaressed walking into the big trading floor, only men almost, and little me with my long blond pony tail and suit. I had heared all the stories... about coke dealing under the desks, the new girl from Reuters they tied up to a chair and made her sit on it in the elevator all day going up and down....I heard how the manager cancelled the juniors dates, told lies to their wifes and all the drinking and partying after work.....on the broker floor it was big guys screaming into two phones at the same time, standing up, shouting at eachother, hugging eachother and some would fight.
So suddenly one day a friend of my boyfriend called and said there was a positon coming up in a company. I still owe this man everything.
Again I put my suit on, a little smarter and thougher I walked down King William Streeet, and took the lift up to Informa Global Markets. A company supplying all the banks and hedgefunds in Europe with market data and figurs.
Again I walked into a room with a round table and two tall men. Meeting with the head of sales and the french manager. The first thing they asked, " What is Eur/USD trading ?" " 1.22 this morning and 1.23 closing NY yesterday.." ..they looked at me...the ice was broken. On my way home, the phone rang : Could I come in for a second interview ?
I was flying. The next week I was back, and this time I was meeting the big head of the company: Henrietta: she had short dark hair, spoke with short sentences and you could see how everybody held their breath when she walked into the room. I have no idea how I got her on my side....40 minutes after the interview they called me and asked when I could start !
13th June 2005 my life changed. From 8-17 I was in the office or travelling around Europe. Some days I would visit three countries in one day: Taking the Eurostar from London to Brussel in the morning having meetings with ECB, then jump on the plane to Zurich to meet with Credit Suisse and then fly to Frankfurt to have meetings with Commers bank.
I was having meetings on the biggest trading floors in Europe. Me walking around with my blonde ponytail talking marketdata to all the big traders and brokers. Some laughed at me, but soon people took me serious and I got flied in first class to interview for a positon in Frankfurt for a hedgefund desk.....
Within two minutes of me walking in the guys would have my website up on their screens.....it even went so far that Bank of Scotland didnt want to renew their contract if I didnt come with the paperwork in person.
It was a lot of long days and hectic. My french manager would sometimes throw the whole phone in the wall screaming french swear words....but they where thankfully always nice to me.
I was also still modelling and some days I would have to run out in my lunch, get changed into something more sexy in the elevator and run to modelcastings.
I was single after Christmas, so all the travelling was ok. One day when I was visiting Danske Bank in Copenhagen, one of the young traders from the Swap desk called me over. Thomas, he had long sleek blond hair, and the bluest eyes ever. He asked me if I could help him with the software.
Once I was back in London he called me in my office and said that" He Still just couldnt figure out how to use the system, could I help him?" .....ha ha clever guy ;-) The next time I was in Copenhagen he invited me out for dinner and we just had the best time. Our 3rd date was an amzing holiday in Spain togheter. 1. March 2006 I moved to Thomas in Copenhagen and started working as an Investment banker in Saxo bank ......but that is a totally different story ;-)
What you see, is that I had no education or even clue, just focus, ambition and hard work, I didnt give up, and as you see I landet that dream job of mine in finance....:-))))

Sunday Steffen and Gaute picked me up in Oslo, and we drove back to Arendal. A smooth ride in a nice XC 90, I love these big suvs:-) Getting back to the office, there where reported so many claims after the storms that has been, new budgets and fast forward. Also starting my indoor training in the gym, my arms looks like spagettie after all my running training and I need some muscle on me. Enjoying some quality time reading up one Steve Jobs bio and setting up my 2012 schedule... Yep, everyday life has started again and I m exaited to see what I will make of 2012:-) Hope you all are great xoxoxo

Mirell Victoria: Amazing day at Bygdøy checking out the boats for winter storage

When I was in Oslo I met one of my best friends from Copenhagen. We had a long nice walk along side Bygdøy, Paradis Bukten and Huk where he has his boat stored for the winter. With all the storms that has been lately its good to keep an eye on the storage to avoid expensive damage. It was such a beautiful day, the sun was shining and clear sky with just a hint of winter and a white cover of snow. Oslo is really growing on me, its quite a beautiful city, who knows....I might move here one day ;-)

Christmas is pure magical for me. I love Christmas, and spending time with my family and friends in this special time. Its a tradition my mum has given my sister and myself, and from we where small kids she has had the whole family decorating the house, baking and showing us how magic this time is. We always light candles at the churchyard togheter, thinking about those in our hearts, we cook, decorate, sit around the fireplace, bake, wrap presents , the cats are jumping around and we all go for walks. This Christmas was amazing ,and I m so grateful for my family, you are the best in the whole world and I love you so much xoxoxo

I got so many nice presents, cant belive it, more than I ever could wish for! Thank you so much each and one of you for thinking about me :-) I got the bio of Steve Jobs, a Marc Jacob bag, the Faruk Royal 24.karat Gold hair straightners, fantastic work out clothing from Stormberg,, lots of Dr. Haucska products, candleholders, and so many nice things. Not to forget all the Christmas hugs and greetings :-D

Mirell Victoria: HairDreams extentions by the amazing Marc Waldorf

The reason for my journey to Copenhagen was to have my hair done by celebrity hairdresser Marc Waldorf. He is the only one in Scandinavia who has HairDreams hairextentions, the highest quality extentions there are. He opened up his salong at Fredriksberg Alle 42B, just for me and I m so amazed by the results. Last time he made my hair it lasted more than half a year which is rare for such long blond hair. The hair looks better and better the more you brush and wash it.

I have been using Redken products previous, but never thought my hair looked any better. Did you know that Redken is a supermarket brand in countries outside Europe? Marc introduced me to the Faruk royal treatment products, they contain crushed white pearls and white truffle. My hair changed instantly, after years of bleaching my hair needed a lot of hairspray and products to stay the way I wanted. Well not anymore, with Faruk my hair becomes soft, healthy and all full with a silky finish without using heavy products. Only the best for my hair! Thank you, Marc for making my Hairdreams come true:-)
